REDCSS REGULAR UPDATE
๐ก️ REDCSS REGULAR CYBERSECURITY PRACTICAL COURSE
๐ Welcome to the RedCSS Regular Class!
Thank you for showing your interest in joining our Regular Cybersecurity Practical Class.
Your active participation, curiosity, and dedication are what motivate RedCSS and our members to keep learning, practicing, and improving together. ๐ฅ
This course will run for 3 months, including holidays, so that we can complete all the essential parts of our practical curriculum.
At the end of the 3-month course, an online practical examination will be conducted across different cybersecurity fields.
๐ป PRACTICAL COURSE MODULES
During the course, participants will explore topics such as:
1. Nmap — scanning concepts, tools, options, practical network reconnaissance, and analysis.
2. Burp Suite — web security testing and understanding HTTP requests/responses.
3. Gobuster — practical directory and resource discovery in authorized environments.
4. Security Awareness & Phishing Simulation — understanding fake-page techniques and how such attacks work, strictly in controlled labs.
5. Location & Privacy Security — understanding how location information can be exposed and how to protect against it.
6. Localhost & Terminal — understanding and running local services from a terminal.
7. HTML & Source-Code Analysis — inspecting and understanding HTML/source code using Kali Linux.
8. Kali Linux on Android — installation, configuration, and practical Linux security environments.
9. Finding Vulnerabilities — identifying bugs in websites specifically provided or authorized by RedCSS Official.
10. DNS Snooping & DNS Security — understanding DNS information exposure and defensive techniques.
11. IP Address Concepts — understanding IP addressing, changes, privacy, and networking concepts.
12. Dark Web Security — learning about legitimate and legal ways to access and research the dark web safely.
13. Networking & Penetration Testing — networking fundamentals, vulnerability assessment, penetration-testing methodology, and security testing.
14. Android Security — understanding Android security concepts and common attack techniques in controlled environments.
15. Malware & Virus Analysis — understanding how malicious software works, how infections occur, and how to detect and prevent them.
16. Ransomware — learning the basic concepts, attack lifecycle, impact, and defensive measures.
17. Project Deployment — publishing and managing cybersecurity projects through GitHub.
18. And much more... ๐ฅ
๐งช PRACTICAL EXAMINATION
The examination will be conducted practically rather than through traditional written answers.
Participants will be expected to demonstrate their understanding by performing tasks in authorized labs and controlled environments.
๐ฏ The goal is simple:
Learn → Practice → Understand → Secure
You won't just memorize commands.
You'll learn why a technique works, how it works, where it can be used legally, and how defenders can protect against it.
⚠️ IMPORTANT — EDUCATIONAL & LEGAL USE ONLY
All RedCSS training material is provided strictly for educational, research, cybersecurity-awareness, and authorized testing purposes.
Participants must only test systems, websites, devices, accounts, and networks when they have explicit permission to do so.
Unauthorized access, data theft, credential theft, malware deployment, disruption of systems, privacy violations, or attacks against real users/systems are strictly prohibited.
Any misuse of the knowledge or practical techniques taught during the course may result in removal from the course and appropriate action under applicable laws and regulations.
